We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet. We may use software tools such as Google Analytics to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. These types of passive data collection are used to understand web traffic on our site and is automatically deleted  periodically by Google Analytics. We do not store it long-term, sell it to third parties, or otherwise actively or knowingly use it to track your activity away from this site. Data you enter through the contact form or any volunteer registration or other registration form may be stored in an offline spreadsheet and used for follow-up purposes related to this site or a given project. We may use this data to notify you about a project or future events; to poll your opinions through surveys; to request feedback; to create media content; and for other similar reasons pertinent to the content of this website. For these purposes, we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, or postal mail. Your data is not shared with third parties or used for marketing or any for-profit purposes. We are required to share data upon request with law enforcement agencies according to local regulations. 

 

This website is hosted by wix.com, which has its own Privacy Policy. Wix apps are used to collect data through registration forms and contact forms. Wix also uses cookies for security purposes and to track user movement on all Wix sites. Also your data may be stored through wix.com's data storage, databases and general wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. Likewise, Google Analytics uses cookies on our site and they have their own privacy policy. 

 

If you don’t want us to store data you entered on our website, please send us a message to that effect using email: info@iowareligiousfreedomday.org. Do not use the site’s contact page, as that would generate more data collection. We cannot control any data collected by Wix or Google Analytics. To request data access or deletion from those companies, you will need to contact them. 

 

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it. If you would like to access, correct, amend or delete any personal information we have about you, please send email to info@iowareligiousfreedomday.org. We will try to respond to your request within 30 days or less.
